Wonderful, wonderful news from this past week. I found out one of my songs “Love to the Fourth” is being used in one of the trailers for a new Indie movie that is due to be released this Christmas season. The movie is called “The Christmas Movie” and has a loaded cast. It stars Olesya Rulin (from high School Musical) and co-stars a fleet of other respected actors and actresses including Elliott Gould, Linda Gray, Lainie Kazan, Cloris Leachman, Della Reese, Cybill Shepherd, Gene Simmons, and Fred Willard. I’m actually a little giddy about this.
You can see the trailer at the movie’s website: www.thexmasmovie.com.
I’m not sure how widely it will be released as of now… but if and when I find out I will pass the info along. I’d love it if you could go see this movie and support them for supporting me. Thank you!

Jacob!
Congratulations!
I seem to recall writing something like, “I wish you all the best of success and luck, my young friend, and look forward to seeing your name up in lights…. or at least in the credits!”
You’ve now officially arrived in Tinseltown, and can claim a place in the movie biz. Many move to Hollywood with dreams of gaining a toehold in the entertainment business, but few succeed as you have, an impressive accomplishment!
You are a telented songwriter, and I hope this is the start of a long career in music. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for the inspiration of your example, that even in our jaded times dreams can come true.

Good luck Jacob. I’ve been following you from afar for the last few years, and I love your work. You’ve got a gift, man… keep going for your dreams. It’s an inspiration to all of us.
